Apple iPhone SE 3 has entered mass production

It’s been nearly 2 years since Apple released the budget friendly iPhone SE (2020). The iPhone SE has been very successful for Apple, as consumers have welcomed cheaper options, particularly within developing markets such as China and India.
Macotakara, a reputable Japanese blog who are known for their scoops with Chinese suppliers, have reported the Apple iPhone SE 3 has already entered mass production.
Reputable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also confirmed these reports, with Apple expecting to ship 25 - 30 million units by the end of the year.
Apple are expected to officially announce the iPhone SE 3 at the upcoming spring event on 8th March, and will hit the stores within the following week.
Apple will not be adding MagSafe to the iPhone SE 3, however there will be continued support for Qi wireless charging. The iPhone SE 3 will also be the first in the series to have 5G, being the cheapest 5G device Apple have ever sold.

Ming-Chi Kuo also states the design will remain relatively unchanged, which we first saw with the iPhone 5S in 2013. The display will likely be a 4.7 inch OLED panel, with rumours of a Touch ID sensor on the side power button. The processor will be upgraded from Apple’s A13 to A15 Bionic, which is the same chip as used with the iPhone 13.
Recent reports suggest the iPhone SE 3 may start from £299, compared to £399 for the iPhone SE (2020). If true, Apple will surely be able to snatch a large percentage from the budget Android phone market.
Apple iPhone SE 3 references were recently spotted in the code for iOS 15.4 beta. These types of product references are usually added to iOS whenever mass production begins.
Apple have been unaffected by the recent supply chain issues that have hit the technology sector. As one of the biggest companies in the world, Apple will certainly have arrangements and priority for components.
