Apple iPhone SE 3 could start from £299, a significant price reduction

The upcoming Apple iPhone SE 3 could see a significant price reduction by £100. The latest entry to the SE series is expected to be unveiled at Apple’s upcoming spring event on 8th March.
John Donovan, an analyst with a good track record for Apple tips, says the Apple iPhone SE 3 may start from just £299. For comparison, the current Apple iPhone SE (2020) starts at £399 SIM free.
In addition to the lower price point, the iPhone SE 3 is expected to be the first in the series to have 5G connectivity. This will make the iPhone SE 3 the cheapest 5G device Apple have ever sold. Currently, the cheapest iPhone with 5G you can purchase is the Apple iPhone 12 mini, which was released 2 years ago.
In addition to 5G, the Apple iPhone SE 3 is expected to use the same A15 chip as used with the Apple iPhone 13, and will also have an upgraded camera system.
Currently, if you want a cheap smartphone, your only option is to buy an Android phone. The low price point will help Apple penetrate the developing market even further, particularly within Indian and China.
The Apple iPhone SE 3 has already entered mass production, and is expected to be unveiled at Apple's upcoming spring event on 8th March.
