Realme C30 renders revealed in two colour options
In collaboration with OnLeaks, CompareDial can reveal exclusive renders of the Realme C30, in Green and Blue colour options.
The budget phone from Realme is expected to be the cheapest smartphone released by the Chinese company, with an official announcement and release due later this month.
Realme have been pursuing a major expansion in European markets, where they recently became the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer.
The Realme C30 is expected to feature a 6.5 inch display, MediaTek Helio G80 chip, 13 MP camera, 5 MP selfie camera and 5000 mAh battery.
The front of the phone will sport a small teardrop notch for the selfie camera. The renders show minimal bezels along the side, however there is a fairly large chin at the bottom of the phone.
The rear appears to have a rather unique vertical grid design, with alternating lines that slightly protrude. With such a distinct design, how the Realme C30 will feel to hold is an open question.
Display size | 6.5 inch |
---|---|
Processor | MediaTek Helio G80 |
Camera | 13 MP |
Selfie camera | 5 MP |
Battery | 5000 mAh |
Colours | Blue and Green |
As common with most budget phones, the Realme C30 will keep a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom end of the phone. However, in an unusual decision, it appears Realme will include a microUSB port, rather than a modern USB-C port. Alongside, there will be a single speaker port towards the right.
Realme was founded 4 years ago as a subsidiary of Oppo, by Sky Li, the once vice president of Oppo. Realme have since become an independent company. Oppo, on the other hand, have gradually been merging together with OnePlus, another subsidiary which they own. Oppo recently released its first major push into the worldwide flagship market with the Oppo Find X5 Pro.
Realme have yet to produce premium flagship phones that can compete amongst the likes of the iPhone 13 and Samsung Galaxy S22, however they have seen great success with their budget to mid-range lineup in recent years, particularly in Asian markets.
We’ll be sure to compare the cheapest phone deals for the Realme C30 when it’s released later this month.
