OnePlus 10 Pro easily snaps in half in new durability test

A new video shows the OnePlus 10 Pro has no trouble snapping in half, a major concern for a phone considered a flagship device.
JerryRigEverything, a YouTuber famous for his phone durability tests, applies minimal pressure to the OnePlus 10 Pro, before it completely snaps in half. As expected, the phone immediately stops functioning, but the LED flashlight somehow manages to stay on.
It appears there’s a weak spot between the camera array and battery. Usually, such a problem is avoided with a well constructed metal frame. In the case of the OnePlus 10 Pro, the volume buttons appear to be placed within the metal frame, at the exact location as the affirmed weak spot. The two unfortunate design mishaps result in a very fragile phone, without an evenly distributed structure for support.
Furthermore, the OnePlus 10 Pro no longer has an IP rating, whereas the OnePlus 9 Pro has an IP68 rating.
The news follows various problems OnePlus have faced with their flagship phone. The recent supply chain crisis has delayed the global release of the OnePlus 10 Pro, with its release still being confined to the Chinese market.
However, we expect the OnePlus 10 Pro to launch in the UK next month. Just make sure you purchase a strong case if you plan on buying the phone.
