Exclusive: Motorola Moto G32 official press renders reveals Black and Red colour options
In another collaboration with OnLeaks, CompareDial can reveal official high-resolution press images of Motorola’s upcoming Moto G32.
The images reveal two colour options: Red and Black. This is a change from the previous Moto G31, which came in grey and blue, branded as Mineral Grey and Baby Blue respectively. We revealed last month that the Moto G32 will come in Silver and Grey colour options - these may still be on the table for a total of 4 colour variants, or it's possible Motorola have revised their plans.
From the front, the design is relatively unchanged. There’s still a small cutout at the top centre for the selfie camera, and an asymmetrical chin for the bottom bezel.
On the side, there’s a slightly redesigned power button and volume rocker. The power button will likely double as a fingerprint sensor. It also appears the dedicated Google Assistant button has been removed, which we assume hasn't been a well used feature.
Similar to the G31, the renders show the G32 will keep a rear triple camera, albeit with a redesigned layout and camera bump. Unlike the identical shaped lenses with the G31, the macro camera on the G32 looks considerably smaller, appearing the same size as the LED flash. The main camera will be a 50 MP sensor, as shown by the label next to the lenses. Previous reports suggest the remaining 2 cameras will feature 2 MP sensors.
Beneath the phone, the Moto G32 will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is a common feature for budget phones in this price range. There’s a USB-C port in the centre and speaker grill towards the right.
Last week, NCC certification details revealed a 5,000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging USB-C adapter. This is the same 5,000 mAh battery from the previous G31, which was lauded for its incredible 36 hours battery life. There will also be a pair of earphones and a charging cable in the box.
Although unconfirmed, previous reports have suggested a 6.5 inch LCD panel with 90Hz refresh rate. Rumours have also suggested the G32 will move away from a MediaTek chip, and instead will feature the Unisoc T606 processor.
Last month, we revealed the Moto G32 will start from 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It’s possible Motorola will also release additional variants with greater capacity, depending on region.
We also revealed the official European price, which will start at €229. This will keep the Moto G32 within the budget phone range.
The Red colour variant is a slightly dark shade - almost red wine like, and will feature a glossy, reflective back panel.
